network cable unpluged

hi all
i have problem with network cable.i have DSL connection speedtouch 585 v6 modem.and me and my friend share connection.everything was fine but one day my friend changed the RJ45 connector now problem is he is not getting connection at all local area connection shows cable is unpluged we changed RJ45 10 time but same problem someone told us to change cable CAT5 to CAT6 we cahnged the cable still facing same problem he is 150 meter far from my home he has toshiba laptop we tried to plug network cable to another computer is same problem.we use straight cable 1.white orange orange 2white green blue 3white blue green 4white brown brown.same color other side
