network cable unplugged

I had broadband connection.once adsl modem didn’t receive power.I have changed it.In the mean time I have rebooted my pc. Now when I try to connect internet my pc reads cable network unplugged and also green light of adsl modem doesnot blink . please suggest the remeady.
