Network Card not working

I’m running Red Hat6.2 on laptop NEC Versa Note with built in Digital 21143 network card. Network card module is tullip.
During the boot process when it comes to eth0
the error message dispalys:
“eth0:Tx hung, 9 vs. 0
eth0: 21140 transmit timed out, status ffffffff, SIA ffffffff ffffffff …. resetting”

Then it will display this message every 10 sec or so.
What can I do to rectify this problem.
