Network connections being dropped

I recently migrated from NT 4 to 2000 on my server. Everything went smoothly, except for the fact that my users who are running win98 will lose access to the mapped drives, at random times, and lock there account out.. I will then have to unlock their account and have them log bak in to access the drives. Any ideas on what could cause this, and how to fix it?
