In an attempt to redo my practice network install undergoing this drawback which i need help with. Here it goes.Idid a network install the very 1st time & with help from techrepublic members things went really well. This time while trying an unattend install problems are thus-After booting from the network start disk which was created through net client Administrator, made the necessary changes in protocol & system files
the client machine boots, loads the nic drivers, binds the protocol to the board & since i have a DHCP service, enabled it in my start disk, the net ini starts but it cannot get ip address from server where my installation files are located.at that stage
it stalls and stays there.am i overlooking something.I deleted my dhcp scope, recreated another & it is still initializing TCP/IP via DHCP & STALLED AS I AM WRITING THIS. ANY THOUGHTS WILL BE APP–another thought i had was remove dhcp service & re-install but before i do that i will wait for some input
