Network Printer Problems!

I have a Epson Stylus 600 printer on a small network. It starts to print and then stops with a message: Error on network drive ?.. It seems to be some sort of problem on the network itself, because the printer is working just fine. It’s a Windows 98network with UTP cabling through a hub, running on half duplex. What can be the problem?
