I am working from a windows XP system on the office network. All of the other printers on the network are working on the server computer, and on the computer I am using except for the Zebra LP2844. This printer has always worked previously.
When I try to print from Winpos-300 nothing happens. When I try and print from note pad my status is “Unable to connect” and if I try to print the error message is “The RPC server is unavailable. If I try to open the printer properties on the printer I receive the message “The print spooler service is not running.”
I have already tried
net stop spooler
sc config spooler depend= RPCSS
net start spooler
exit
with no success. I have also already gone into Services, everything seems alright there. I am not quite sure what to try next, windows troubleshooting is doing me no good.
