Network Printers

What would cause a netowrk printer mapping to dissapear after a reboot in WinXP SP2? Printer is published on 2 servers(AD & UNIX). Both dissapear after adding. Local mappings and/or TCP/IP direct connections are not affected. User is a local admin.
