Network Search Stalling

I am having a problem searching my network storage. I am on a domain using XP Pro and am trying to search our network storage server for certain files. Everytime I do this it finds a few files and then just stops and eventually becomes non responsive. Other computers are able to search the network storage with no problem, but I can not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
