network shares and adresses

Hey guys

Sittin with a strange problem here, 1 of my workstations is having issues with seeing network shares from the server. if i go “\\servername” its meant to bring up all the shares, but it only shows 1 folder! if i use “\\IPaddress” it then shows all the stuff its meant to! why would it do this?
