network usage

we are using windows 2000 advance server as our clientserver.we have a shared folders and 100 users use to map network drive.oftentimes one pc contains at least 10 or more network drive letters.our workstation use windows xp pro. and windows 98. how can i restrict the use of so many drive map drives in one computer? how clients can a advance server accommodate?
