Network with XP

I mounted a computer network with professional operative system XP,has an impression server and are all in a domain. Currently I have that always to come back to install the printer in the remote
computers because it loses the configuration of the printer. The times with simple restart I decide the situation. It would like to know if
not a way to decide this situation or that they explained me that
error is this.
