I am not even close to being considered a networking guru. I know little about it, and Im currently taking a college class dealing with networking. My problem is I’ve got a final project coming up soon, but I don’t know what to do.
Basically my particular netowkring assignment is to network 2 buildings together. There are 40 computers between the 2, and they want both buildings to share the same inventory database. They are both warhouses about a mile apart, with houses and a creek running between them. Not to mention a large forest behind the houses. Both warehouses are on the same side of the road.
I don’t really know which options are very viable, the only one I have right now is using a satellite connection to link the two, but even that sounds like a poor idea.
If anyone out there has a suggestion, I would appreciate it greatly… I don’t need the specifics, but I need a nudge in the right direction…. thanks in advance!
