I have a custom made ethernet device which receives data through ethernet connection.

Everything works just fine.

Now I want to simulate a long distance, “bad connection”.

The application runs on my pc which is connected to my home lan.

I can connect my laptop through WiFi to my home lan, too,

and connect the ethernet device to the laptop through laptop ethernet port.

Now, how can I simulate a slow connection with very long ping response to test my device?
