NETWORKING LOGON

by peejay . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

To whom it may concern:
I’m trying to add a new user to our network. He just got a brand new laptop in and it’s running Win98. I added in all of the correct network settings into the laptop and restarted like it asked me to. I type in the admin user name and password and I get the error message,”The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon server has been denied.” We know it’s not the password because we checked it like 30 times. So anyway, I cancel so I can get into the system. Now, GET THIS!!! I can ping all of the other servers and when I go into Internet Explorer and set it up on the proxy, I can even get on the net. But, for some strange reason I still can’t get access to the network. We also ran diagnostics on the card and all of that and it’s all ok. I’M AM VERY CONFUSED, PLEASE HELP!~!!!!
