Networking new PC to cabled PC

I’m new to this p2p stuff…so be gentle.

PC #1. 98SE currently connected to a cable modem. Cable vendor ISP and MS Hotmail.

PC #2. XP home edition, ethernet installed.
I have the cat 5 cable with RJ45s

My question(s):
How do I reconfigure PC #1 for p2p networking with PC#2?

How do I configure PC#2 for networking with PC#1 including file, printer and ISP sharing?
