Networking Win Me & 2000

Just set up small 2 comp network, one w/ Win Me & other w/ 2000. The problem is that the comp w/ Me wont access the one w/ 2000. The Me comp prompts for a password but the 2000 comp gets into Me just fine, and there are no passwords set up on either. Could it possibly be because Me cant read the NTFS format? Please help!!!!
