I have recently purchased a new system. On it I got a very new Liteon 52x24x52 CD-RW. The problem I am having is a game I bought (Nascar 2003) has CD security on it. Every time I execute the game, the CD starts to go, my monitor clicks as it changesresolution and then I reboot. I found a NO-CD crack on the net and when I use it, the game works great, except I can’t play on Sierra’s servers. Because the NO-CD works, I have eliminated the video card as being an issue. I have updated video drivers and CD firmware.
I’m at a loss as to what is happening and how to fix it.
After looking at the Sierra forum for NR2003, I’m not the only one with this issue!
