New Dell SCSI HDD not visable in Windows Server 2003

Afternoon,

Just recently installed a new 300GB SCSI HDD into a Poweredge 2650. Unfortunately I am unable to view it in Windows and therefore cannot format or partition it etc. This isnt to be used for RAID but to be used simply for extra space. Have tried installing the Openmanager storage manager software but getting a message that no storage containers found?
