I’m looking for some information and advice. I’ve been asked to help design a network that will support two remote sites in other communities. I’m in a small rural town where I moonlight to provide support to various small business networks, but I’m primarily a local network admin (Netware, Server 2003). I am an expert only by virtue of our rural status. The local social work provider has a central site in community A (LAN with 20 users), a secondary site in community B (LAN with 8 users) and an third site in community C (1 user, no LAN). All sites connect via ADSL. They would like to run a single central server (Windows Server 200x) that provides access to client data, and run a central Exchange mail server. This must be relatively common scenario – how have others addressed it?
