New Server for Domain Contoller

Hi to all,

I need to buy new server with min. capacity of 400 GB HDD for windows server 2000 which will be Primary Domain Controller for near about 250 Domain users & which will be saving all company data into domain.

Can I go for IBM System x series?

Would you pls let me know what hardware configuration should I opt for it.
