I have recently put in a new version of our in house application that uses SQL Server express.
This is new to me as I have only really worked with desktop database systems.
All up and working, but I have a few questions.
Firstly, within the Studio express tool, when i run reports the User statistics only seems to be interested in the local user (administrator), and ignores all networked clients ??
This may have something to do with the connection string. On the local machine it has to be \\server1\sqlexpress but on network clients the connection string is \\server1 without the sqlexpress part. Why is that, and have I got something configured incorrectly ??
Any help much appreciated. I can’t remember what the other queries were, but I’m sure it’ll come to me later !!
