Newly graduated A.A. Computer Networking seeks advice

I have recently graduated from ITT-Tech Austin Tx. I an now very hungry to bite into a future Network Admin role. I want to know what is needed of new Admins to the industry? I do not want to be a good Admin, but a great Admin. I am thinking of getting more SAP training with a Bachelors degree in Network Administration. I am currently working for Unisys as a Technical Support Technition as I have been told its important ot get at least 2 years experience as a front line Tech.
