NLB ping problem between 2 NLB servers

hi all,
running 2 servers W2k3 web edt. on a NLB cluster.

Cluster has been perfomring well till recently.

on Server1 i cant ping Server2’s assigned IP address. I can ping all the other bound IP addresses (for multiple websites) but not the one assinged

on Server2 is the same situation.

Is this normal for NLB or is this anomolous? I have recently inheireted this network and NLB is farly new to me. Did a Google for the problem with not thta much help.
