No Internet Access to ICS Machine

by bobaut . Updated 22 years, 9 months ago

Hello, I Need Help.

I have a home network with w2k-pro on two machines and win98se on the third. Have a shared ICS dial up on one w2k machine that connects fine to internet and win 98se machine connects fine. Second w2k machine has access to and can see and ping all other IPs. This machine can not access the internet no mater what I do. Has event ID 7000 & 7001 with the folloeing messages.

Event ID 7000 = The SYMTDI service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Event ID 7001 = The DHCP Client service depends on the SYMTDI service which failed to start because of the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Thanks in advance for all Help.

Bob
