Greetings all & I hope you’re having a great holiday.
Here’s the deal. I have a SBS 2003 network. I’ve installed serveral of these and all were working fine. I have 2 workstations and one server. When I go: cable modem > desktop NIC > I get internet connectivity, all the ipconfig info is correct. But when I have it setup as so:
cable modem > SBS server NIC # 1 > SBS Server NIC 2 (internal network card) to switch > PC’s connected to switch.
I’ve tried everything I can think of: updated drivers, installing a 3rd NIC (which I since took out), all the correct services are running. Why does the desktop get an outside connection but the server won’t?
Thanks,
ricseb
