Non booting computer and BSOD

I have a laptop that will get to the XP splash screen and then flash the Blue sceen of Death before restarting. Is there anyway to stop it from immediately restarting so that I could at least read the error message. If it helps at all the computer was imaged and it does boot into safe mode although I can’t use it because of sysprep. I’m just trying to find out why it won’t boot.
