Hello – There are several parts to this question.
– Installation of Norton Corporate antivirus software on Win 2000 Server and 9 PCs. How do you determine the installation is successful? The PC do not indicate (icon or Task Manager) that a background process is running. The server console shows the 9X PCs have the software and the dat file status but no way to see if it is running.
– How do you test this installation?
– The server console does not show the 2 XP PC’s?
– I can start the software from Start/Programs and run manual scans but I cannot detect the program is running on startup.
– On PC accepted the installation but refused to update the dat files?
– One PC gave the error message “error 2894. Internal error 2894.1157”?
Iam attempting to contact Norton but I am afraid there is no antivirus running and time is not in my favor.
