Norton, worst Anti Virus protection??

As the title says i have read endless posts on different forums, and repaired many virus infected machines all which were running Norton. Does anyone else agree that Nortons just not up to the task??

Also if anti-virus companies are employing people to write viruses, so they can write the antidotes, why cant they make one that works properly ???

might cause some controversy there, but anti virus companies would be out of business if new viruses werent being created 🙂
