not able to send and recive fax in microsoftfax

i am using winxp os.in this there is inbult fax program.through that program i am not able to send and recive mails when i try to fax dialing is continues goes on until i stop the fax servece from services.why this happen plse tell me .in fax rpogram there app fax rpinters are anaccesible what is this messge.how i configured fax software plse tell me.plse help me
