Not responding when access files

Hi all,

I use windows 2003 server and Xp as client for my customer. I user roaming profiles, DHCP, DNS, and Domain for them. Server also is file server. Everyone access files by share file and a network drive is connected in roaming profiles.

Sometimes, i received information from user like that: very slow when access file. I checked and it is true: very slow when access to server buy open or edit or save office file. I don’t know why it happen.

Anyone can give me any insight or advise for solving that problem?Any help is very much appreciated.
