Novell 3.12 – Can’t purge below 28%

I’m having difficulty purging files from a Novell 3.12 server. After purging the total % of space to be puged only goes to 28%. After several attempt while logged in as supervisor from the root I still can’t below 28. All of the latest patches are in place and I have rebooted and run vrepair. There are 3 9Gb drives setup for raid 5. Any ideas or thoughts?
