Novell and Trustee File Assignments

I have a user that continues to lose access to a file I continue to give her access to! I am giving access to one particular file in a directory by using the Trustee File Assigmnet function in Syscon. Each time I have set it up, I go to her computer to make sure she really does have access, she does. The next time she needs the file, it’s missing!
We are running a Novell 3.2 server.
Any suggestions?
