Novell Applauncher

What info does Novell Apploncher gather when comparing a new machine to the machine with desired apps loaded. I have a loaded desktop that I want to clone to 14 other identical machines. I’ve been told by my network guru that I must use the same machine for before and after snapshots. Can I use win98 reg # and machine id to set up the empty mach to look like the loaded one? Where can I get info on seting up Novell AppLauncher?
