Novell: Bindery log-in

We have some people needing to access our network through a bindery log-in through Novell. On many of these stations, it is easy enough (force bindery, and map to the IP address and volume). On some of these after setting force bindery, it reverts to the OFF switch.

Does anyone know how to maintain the switch to ON so that the bindery can be forced?
