NT 4.0 and WINS

Had a PDC and BDC at one side of the WAN. Moved the BDC to other side. Had to give it a new IP address, so we changed the WINS server addresses on PDC and BDC. Now BDC cannot “see” PDC. Put LMHOSTS file on BDC, the addresses on BDC’s side are static, on PDC’s side are DHCP. Can ping PDC, but cannot find it by name. Any suggestions?
