NT Data Corruption

by deathgod . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

Every so offen we get major corruption occuring. It only occurs after a full backup of the system and only on our PDC which has the company data. We use Backup Exec and have Accelerator options installed. We also have all the other options but have removed them. The disks in the PDC are on a RAID 5 array. The only drive that gets corrupted is the DATA drive which is a seperate partition from the system drive. The tape unit is running off of a Motherboard Adaptec SCSI Port and we do receiveerror messages regarding the tape drive like SCSI timeouts and bad LUNs. I’m baffled as to what the cause is, its not the errors because they happen all the time and the corruption only happens on average once every 1 1/2 months. Any Ideas?? anymore information needed i have it.
