NT Shared Drive

I have a Novell (4.11) based network and an NT Server (4.0) with shared drives for applications. The workstations are running Win95. Whenever I try to select the mapped network drive on one of the workstations it stops responding (My Computer & Explorer). When I try to use Network Neighborhood, the Explorer stops responding. All this 3 or 4 times, after that everything goes well. As far as I know all the Services on the NT Server are started. Does anyone have an explanation for that ?
