NT4 domain Logon Requirements

Hi,
I wondered if anyone could tell me what requirements are necessary for a client to log on to an NT4 domain. I’m looking at it from a troubleshooting point of view, whereby a user reports “I cannot log on”

– PDC/BDC must be running
– User must have a domain User Account
– Host must have fixed ID or DHCP Server Must be running.
– Wins must be running or client must have a hosts file.
– Physical/Wireless connection to the server

Have i missed anything or got anything wrong? I’m also not sure about DNS if WINS is running.
