NT4 servr explorer doesn’t display files

Had to to an NT repair on a client’s server last night after the IT manager decided to install Timbuktu. I repaired only the system files, and reapplied SP6a. I have found that explorer does not display files, only directories. Find and brows in Run do display files. I also cannot install IE5 without Dr. Watson errors. Had to downgrade to IE4. Any ideas?
