NTFS Partition Merge for W2K

Besides purchasing a copy of PartitionMagic 7.0 or higher, does anyone have way to merge two NTFS partitions (both of the same HD)? Without reformatting or fdisk or harming any installed files. I only have to preform this once for a client and hopefully never again.
