When doing screen prints (shift + print scrn) in a FOXPRO 2.5 DOS application in Windows 95/98 (happens on both) running on a Novell 4.2 network, with Client 32 version 3.1.0.0, the user looses the ability to enter numbers. Sometimes doing another shift+print scrn will toggle the numbers back on. If it doesn’t , the user has to close the application, log out of the network, log back into the network, and then go back into the application. Everything works fine until the next time the user triesto do a series of srceen prints.
This problem occurs randomly, about every 4 to 5 screen prints, on different computers. Exchanging keyboards doesn’t help the problem. There doesn’t appear to be any pattern or sequence of entry that causes thisproblem.
