Office2K MBR issue

I recently performed an NT4 w/s install on a Dell PC which previously had Off2k installed(the main reason for the reformat in the 1st place) After the O/S reload, some Office2K stuff is still present. I believe this is because it writes to the MBR. Is there an easy way around this (avoiding a format of the HDD) which will allow the total removal of Office2K?
