Onboard sound error

Dear Sir/Madam
I?m having a problem with my onboard sound card it says there might not be a sound device installed. My motherboard specifications are:

Motherboard Name: Foxconn 6617MX-S / 661FX4MR-ES / 661FX7MF-(E)S / 661FXME(-E) / 661GX7MI-S / 661M03-G / 661M04-MX / 661MX (Pro)
Operating system : Windows XP

I cant play music now or any sound. If you can help mi I will appreciate it.
