One parallel port to 2 parallel devices.

I have an IBM ThinkPad with one parallel port but I have an Iomega 250M parallel port Zip drive and a cannon parallel port scanner. How can I connect this 2 devices to one parallel port?
Is there a PCMCIA card available for connecting the Iomega 250M parallel port Zip drive to the PCMCIA slot of the Thinkpad?
Or is there a parallel to USB or serial cable converter for the parallel port scanner.
Or is there any other solution?
