We have a large color laser printer that runs on 220 electrical and sounds like a jet engine when it runs. We were not told how loud it was before placing it in our office.

It’s too lound for our office, but we have limited options on where to relocate it. One option is the server room. It’s small with 8 machines currently.

I’m concerned about putting the printer in the same room. Is there any issues with static electricity or excess air particles that I should be concerned with? Is it bad practice to put any copier or printer in a server room?
