We have a user whose email account on the server has a corrupt email message. We have tried to download it in MS Outlook, Apple’s mail program on OS X, web mail and Outlook Express. Outlook just gives an error message and can’t retrieve any of the messages, Apple’s mail program doesn’t even give an error and does nothing, Outlook Express gives an error message telling me it is message #1 and then downloads all other emails for the account except for #1. When I tried web mail it shows all the email except for #1. How do we delete this message from Apple’s OS X mail server so this email account will once again function correctly? We have looked at the account on the server but can find no way to access this message or even find it to delete it. Does anyone know how we can delete this email message on the server?
