Outlook 2002 Printing

I have two printers, a local one and a networked one. My default Windows XP printer is the networed one. Printing HTML emails is no problem however if I print a Plain Text email to my local printer (non default) it changes my print shortcut to button to the local printer until I change printers again. This only seems to happen with Plain Text emails. I can print HTML email to either printer and my shortcut print icon never changes.
