Outlook 2002 unable to send of receive

I know this was discussed last year, but I never saw a resolution. I changed over from Exchange Server to a POP3 for me email. No problems with the set up or testing during the set up. The test message does get sent, but Outlook will not retrieve the email or send a “new” message. I can set the exact same account up in Outlook Express and it works fine. Somewhere by changing from Exchange Server to a POP3 accout something has changed and I can not find it. curlegirl and budd11701 had been discussing this but I never saw a resolution. The problem I am having is exactly the same.
