Outlook 2003 – Out of Office Rule Only Runs the 1st time for any email addr

by kgoulding . Updated 19 years ago

Hi All,

I have a weird scenario. My company is hosted off site. We are all are running our email as POP3 (i.e no exchange server). I setup a rule to automatically answer any incoming emails with a Office template that I am out of the office.

The rule works but it only sends the out of office reply when I receive the first email of the day from that person. If they send followup emails they dont get the out of office reply.

Is this how the rule is support to work? or do I need to setup something else. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Kevin.
